The principle on which the rocket works is mainly the third laws of motion.

To move the rocket forward the exhaust gases fire backwards, and against which the atmosphere gives an equal push back.

This push back gives thrush generally thrusts the rocket forward, which then helps it to move.

Further Explanation

It is said that netowns law 3 also i consider that Instead of running the rocket to the ground and then pushing it into the sky, the engine is easily able to lift it directly into the air.

Both the rocket and the aeroplane operate on the same principle. The two leave the gases behind and this causes them to push forward.

The plane is heavier and has to be overtaken by the wind at a very high speed to rise.

So it gets as much force as the air from the wings by walking some distance on the first runway.
