The principle on which the rocket works is mainly the third laws of motion.

To move the rocket forward the exhaust gases fire backwards, and against which the atmosphere gives an equal push back.

This push back gives thrush generally thrusts the rocket forward, which then helps it to move.

Hello

The rocket works on the principal of third law of motion. The principal of conservation of momentum the body of the rocket is produced forward. If both the momentum of the gases as well as that of the rocket are added the sum is zero.
