Answer:

Answer

a) Process: Photosynthesis

Type of Nutrition: Autotrophic Nutrition

Explanation: Autotrophic nutrition is the process where plants prepare their own food, using inorganic material such as CO2 and H2O in presence of Sunlight and Chlorophyll.

Raw material: CO2, H2O

b) Three events:

Absorption of light energy by chlorophyll

Conversion of light energy to chemical energy and splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen

Explanation: Omegads03 Ambitious

By the process of photosynthesis, plants make carbohydrates from raw materials by using energy from light. Chlorophyll is a green substance which is present in chloroplasts in green plants, which absorbed light energy. This light energy is used to convert carbon dioxide and water into sugar.

The essential plant nutrients are carbon, oxygen and hydrogen which is absorbed from air and some other nutrients are absorbed from soil such as nitrogen, phosphorous etc.

The nutrients that are absorbed by plant from soil are divided into macro(large amount) and micro (less amount) nutrients. The nutrients that are required by plant in large amount are nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, sulfur, magnesium and nutrients that are required in less amount are zinc, copper, nickel, boron, iron.

Raw materials used by plant are carbon dioxide, water, minerals, sunlight.
