Evaporation / Vaporization

Either of the terms can be used to define the phenomenon of water being converted into water vapours .

When water molecules get enough energy (heat energy) they start vibrating fast . We know that vibration of molecules is increased with increase in temperature . So at a point the vibration is so high that the particles start breaking their bonds which help them to stay in a particular state and start changing their form .

The amount if heat required for changing 1 kg of liquid into vapours is called as latent heat of vaporization .

Here term 'kg' is used for the reason being to provide a specific unit for both solids and liquids .

So we are justified to state that the answer is relatable .
