Heya !!

The process of separating seeds of paddy from it's stalk is known as Threshing.

In this process, the stalk are beaten to free the grain seeds. Machines are also used in separating grain seeds known as Thresher.

Hopes it helps !!!

the process of removal of seed is known as threshing . In this process we separate grains from the cut crop .

it is done by two methods manual and mechanical

⚫️ In Manual harvesting, threshing is done by making of oxen or buffaloes trample over the cut crop .

⚫️ Now-a-days, we are also using a machine called thresher for this process .

there is also other way for this process

winnowing is the process by which we separate grains from the chaff . it can be done manually with the help of wind. we drop mixture (chaff and grains)on the ground from a weight . heaviest seeds get separated from the lighter Chaff as the lighter Chaff is blown away by the wind and Falls at a distance .

steam of crop is cut into small pieces and used as cattle fodder .

after harvesting a steps are there in the field which are burnt by farmers. it causes pollution and it may catch fire and damage the crops lying in the field. in spite of burning we can utilise disturbs to make it and all for disturb should be retained in the field after harvest. this practice minimise erosion, increases water holding capacity of soil, stop the growth of weeds and minimise soil water evaporation.
