It is the process of Transpiration through which trees increase the moisture content in the air and make the environment cool.
Transpiration mean the loss of water from the stomata which are the small pores that lies on the underside of plant leaf. It is the loss of excess water by the method of diffusion into the atmosphere through the stomata of leaves of a plant.
Although even a very small amount of water can be transpired through the other parts of the plant, but 90% of the water diffuses mainly through the leaves.
