Hi thank you for asking the question
This is a really simple reaction in which two atoms of magnesium react with one molecule of oxygen and the reaction is as follows:
2 Mg + O2 ::::> 2MgO
So as the result of the reaction magnesium oxide is formed
In the attachments is the picture showing the ions formed as a result of reaction magnesium and oxygen react to stabilize each other
Mark the answer as brainliest
Thanks

Magnesium and  oxygen combine to from the magnesium oxide .It's a addition reaction that's we are seeing the addition of magnesium and oxygen here. It's a white solidified mineral which is found in nature in the form of periclase.
The molecular formula of Mg0 is 44.3044 g/mol.
Moreover, magnesium oxide is a mineral and used to maintain the level of magnesium in the body because magnesium is necessary for healthy bones as well as the muscles.
