  • Pistil/ gynoecium is the female reproductive part.
  • The stamen/ androecium is the male reproductive part.
  • Pollen grains when reached the stigma, forms the pollen tube to move through style and reaches the ovule for the double fertilization. The fertilized ovule thus becomes a seed.
