Sardar Sarovar Dam is built on river Narmada near Navagam, Gujarat.
Four states Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra and Rajasthan receive water and electricity from this dam.
The foundation was laid on 5 APRIL 1961
The dam was inaugurated by our honorable prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi on September 17, 2017
It is under the ownership of Narmada control authority..
And it is one of the largest dam in world.
