The Primary sector is the largest employer in India. Though it is the largest employing sector it lacks in contributing to GDP as there is disguised employment between people engaged in this sector. Sectors like tertiary and secondary sectory employs small population but provides a large share to GDP as it economically as well as technologically advanced than primary sector. In India the primary sector lacks in advancement.
