Distillation: because salt has got a much higher boiling point than waterso you can use distillation for this. 2. Evaporation: as water will boil off and change into steam leaving saltparticles behind. Disadvantage of this process is that this is a slower process compared to distillation.

Answer. Sea water contains a large amount of common salt and the salts of other metals dissolved in it. Near the sea-shore, the sea water is collected in shallow pits and allowed to evaporate in sunshine. In a few days, the water evaporates, leaving behind salt. The salt so obtained is collected and transported to big factories, where it is purified and packed for consumtions

The sea water is first collected and it is kept for evaporation. When the water is fully evaporated the salt remains.By this way salt is obtained from sea water.

First they will collect some sea water and they will make water to evaporate and after evaporating the NaCl or common salt will remain

The salt can be easily obtained from sea water because sea water contains salty water. If we boil this water, the water will get evaporated, leaving behind only the salt.
