Ribosomes are the smallest cell organelles. They are either scattered in the cytoplasm or attached to the endoplasmic reticulum. They are responsible for synthesis of proteins.

hello!

Ribosomes is the smallest cell organelle. They are either spherical or granular particles and are scattered freely in the cytoplasm. They are also attached to the surface of Endoplasmic Reticulum which are called Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER). They are associated with the synthesis of protein.

hope it helps... :)
