Answer:

During interphase, the cell grows and the nuclear DNA is duplicated. Interphase is followed by the mitotic phase. During the mitotic phase, the duplicated chromosomes are segregated and distributed into daughter nuclei. The cytoplasm is usually divided as well, resulting in two daughter cells.

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Interphase is the stage of cell cycle during which chromatin material is duplicated.

● Interphase -

• It is period from cell formation to cell division.

• Interphase is further divided into G1, S, G2.

G1 phase (Presynthetic phase) -

  • Cell grows and organelles are formed.

S phase (DNA synthesis) -

  • Chromatin material is duplicated

G2 phase (Pre-mitotic phase) -

  • Nutrients necessary for mitosis are accumulated.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you..
