The states of Punjab and Haryana have a common High Court in Chandigarh. Also, the seven North-Eastern states (Assam, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh) share the same High Court in Guwahati. The Calcutta High Court is the oldest high court in the country
