Answer:

Steps involved in getting wool are:

1. Shearing- The fur of sheep, also known as fleece, is cut of from their body along with a layer of dead skin. This is normally done in summers.

2. Scouring- The cut off fleece is washed in big tanks using warm water and detergent. This cleans off the dirt, germs and grease present on the fleece.

3. Sorting- After scouring, the fibers of different textures or physical properties are separated from each other. This is done by a sorter. After the sorting is done, the separated fibers are again scoured.

4. Dyeing- Then, the fibers are dyed in different colours to make them look more attractive. This is done by a dyer.

5. Spinning- The last step is spinning. Here the fibers are spun together to be made into fabrics, which are then sent in markets and sold to customers.

These are the different steps involved in making wool fibers into wool fabric.

Hope it helps you.
