Answer:

Explanation:

The two stages of photosynthesis: Photosynthesis takes place in two stages: light-dependent reactions and the Calvin cycle (light-independent reactions). Light-dependent reactions, which take place in the thylakoid membrane, use light energy to make ATP and NADPH.

There are two phases of photosynthesis which are light-dependent reaction and light-dependent reaction.

Explanation:

  • The light-dependent reactions need sunlight. The light energy get absorbed by the chlorophyll pigments and converted into chemical energy in the form of ATP and NADPH.
  • These reactions takes place in the thylakoid membranes of the granum inside the chloroplast.
  • In the light-independent reaction, the high energy electrons from the light-dependent reaction provide energy to develop food in the form of carbohydrates from the carbon dioxide molecules.
