Both veins and lymph ducts have valves to prevent back flow of blood but arteries do not have valves.

Lymph ducts and veins both have valves to prevent the back flow of blood ( with the exception of the pulmonary vein) unlike arteries ( because the heart pumps blood into the arteries and so back flow does not occur). Again, the exception is the pulmonary artery.
