1. How people perceive their identities- if people are aware about their multiple identities the differences are easier to accommodate but if people see their identities singular and excessive terms it leads to tension.

2. How political leaders raise the demands of any community- If the leaders raised demands with in a constitutional framework and not at the cost of another community such demands are easier to accomodate but if the part of violence is taken it leads to further conflicts.

3. How the govt. reacts to the demands- If the govt. accept the reasonable demands of minorities it is easier to accommodate but if govt. try to suppress such demands in the name of national unity the result is opposing.
