the three major functional regions of a cell are-:
1.Cell membrane- It gives shape to the cell and allows only certain substances to enter or leave the cell that's why it is also called selectively permeable membrane.
2.Cytoplasm- It is a dense fluid cetween the nucleus and cell membrane all the life functions take place here.It has some cytoplasmic bodies called cell organelles like-endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, mitochondria.golgi bodies etc.
3.Nucleus-It is a oval shaped body floating in cytoplasm all vital functions take place here.
Nucleus consists of the following part-:
Nuclear membrane,Nucleolus and chromosomes.
