the three blood cells are

1) RBC (red blood cells /erythrocytes) as they have haemoglobin they help in respiration in humans. as haemoglobin is red in color they also give red color to the blood.

2) WBC (white blood cells/leucocytes)

they are amoeboid cells (can change their shape and size). they provide immunity and also act as lymph in the lymphatic system and provide nutrients to the cells lying far from the reach of blood cappillaries.

3) platelets (thrombocytes)

they help in blood clotting during injuries to prevent major blood loss.
