THREE TYPES OF NEURONE ARE STATED BELOW WITH BRIEF DISCUSSIONS FOR EACH OF THEM :-

(1) SENSORY NEURONE - This type of neurone carries nerve impulse from receptor to CNS (CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM) and is also called as afferent neurone.

(2) MOTOR NEURONE : This type of neurone carries nerve impulse from CNS (CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM) to the effector organs and is also called as efferent neurone.

(3) ADJUSTOR OR INTER-NEURONE : This type of neurone is found exclusively in the CNS (CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM) that creates connection (acts as a link) between sensory and motor neurone.
