1. They have elongated cells with thick cell wall
2.Cell wall are composed of cellulose and pectin
3. Cells are found under the epidermis
4.Little intracellular space in cells

Simple permanent tissue (Collenchyma) provides flexibility to the plants.
We can differentiate by others as it do not have or have very little intercellular spaces. They are densely packed.
