Tissue that stores fat in our body:

Fat is an important component of our human body. It not only stores food for future use, but it also protects our body as a shock absorber, stores fat-soluble vitamins, and drugs.

These fats are stored in typical tissues called adipose tissue. These tissues are found in typical fat storage areas of our body, in lining of the organs to provide protection, etc.

These tissues have a typical histological appearance. In the cells of adipose tissue, the cells that store fats are stored in a vacuole. This vacuole is so big that it pushes the nucleus to one side and occupies the whole of cell. The adipose tissue secretes a hormone called adipsin that increases the fat metabolism of our body.
