A twin prime is a prime number that is either 2 less or 2 more than another prime number, or we can also say two prime numbers whose difference is two are called twin primes.

The first few twin prime pairs are: (3, 5), (5, 7), (11, 13), (17, 19), (29, 31), (41, 43), (59, 61), (71, 73), (101, 103), (107, 109), (137, 139), …. Five is the only prime that belongs to two pairs.
