In highly organized plants, vascular tissues (Xylem and Phloem) are the main components of transportation system. In general, xylem carries the water and minerals from roots to the aerial parts of the plants, whereas phloem carries food from leaves to other parts of the plants.

xylem € it is used in transport of water and minerals xylem is made of trachieds ,vessels xylem fibres, xylem parenchyma ,.trachieds and vessels constitute treachery elements or channels for transport of water and minerals
phloem €€ it is used for transport of Tamil of organic food sieve tube constitute the channels of transport of food materials
