The pancreas and liver are the two glands associated with the digestive system. The pancreas and liver secrete pancreatic juice and bile respectively, into the duodenum via the common bile duct. Bile emulsifies fat and activates digestive enzymes and pancreatic juice is alkaline in nature and contains a variety of digestive enzymes.
