Cheerapunji and Meghalaya get rainfall more than 400 CM. Because these areas are based by Western Ghats and Arabian sea. So they get easily South West monsson. For South West weather these two areas get more rainfall than any other states in India. Cheerapunji is also wettest place on earth. For Cheerapunji's water creats water vapour.
