Name the two Primary Lymphoid organ
Answers
Primary lymphatic organs are where lymphocytes are formed and mature. They provide an environment for stem cells to divide and mature into B- and T- cells: There are two primary lymphatic organs: the red bone marrow and the thymus gland.
As we know the lymphatic system is a large network of tubes that carry lymph, which is a colorless liquid carrying digested fats. It is also called tissue fluid.
When some plasma, proteins and blood start to escape out from the perforated walls of the capillaries, the flow into the inter-cellular spaces of tissues and form lymph. This is drain into the lymph capillaries which then form lymph vessels and lymph veins.
These constitute The lymphatic system. The two primary lymphatic organs are bone marrows and thymus gland.
Bone marrow: help to produce red blood cells. They are the soft inside part of bones.
Thymus gland: It is an endocrine gland that releases the hormone Thymosin that helps to maintain the immune system.
