Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak is an Indo-Islamic architecture, it is a combination of Indian and Islamic architecture came up by the Mughals who ruled India.

The Mughals built a lots of monuments in the places where they ruled.

Qutub minar is the one of tallest minars in India and it stands 73 meters tall after Fateh Burj. It was built only with bricks and no steel bars were used to support the construction.

Initially, it was started by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, later the construction is completed by Iltutmish who was the successor of Qutub-ud-din Aibak.
