These cell divisions are Meiosis and Mitosis respectively.
Meiosis and Mitosis are types of sexual reproduction both are same but in Meiosis cell division takes place twicely so it gives four daughter cells from a single cell and in Mitosis only once cell division occurs and gives two daughter cells from a single cell.

INTRODUCTION:

Cell division is the process that transforms a human fertilized egg into a baby in nine months and into an adult in the next 20 years.

Cell division are of two types-Mitosis and Meiosis.

Meiosis is the type of cell division in which four daughter cells are formed and Mitosis is the type of cell division in which two daughter cells are formed.

The differences between these cell divisions are:

Mitosis:A process of asexual reproduction in which two daughter cells are formed.

-Chromosomes are equally distributed.

-No crossing takes place.

-Produces identical organisms or cells.

Meiosis:It is a type of cellular or sexual reproduction in which four daughter cells are formed.

-Half number of chromosomes are distributed ,that's why it is also called as Reduction division.

-Crossing over takes place.

-Different type of cells or organisms are produced.
