Pivot joint helps in the movement of neck.

They rotates on each other.

Atlas is the first bone.

Axis is the second bone.

(b) Saddle joint is present between carpal and metacarpal.

It is a synovial joint.

Provides stability to the bones.

(c) Hinge joint is present between phalanges.

It is synovial joint.

It helps the bone to move in one axis.
