REPRODUCTION

We are already familiar to this term which can be defined as, Reproduction is the biological process in which a new living being is generated from the same existing species having similar abilities with evolved features.

It is important to maintain Series chain of the species so that It would continue to survive to time coming ahead due to adoptive features.

The type of reproduction in which two individuals are formed from a single parent and the identity of the parent is:-

Binary Fission

It is the asexual (Non involvement of sex gametes) process in which the parent organism splits itself into two half daughter cells which then futhure grows separately and again the step follows.

e.g. Amoeba : Usually occurs in unicellular organisms.

The cell divides into 2 then 4 then 8 so on.

Binary Fission Occurs in Three Stages :-

1) Karyokinesis

2) Cell growth

3) Cytokinesis

Usually Binary Fission Occurs in Favourable Conditions of the Organisms.

DNA of Organism uncoils and duplicates at beginning, DNA is pulled to separate poles of the organism.

A growing (new) cell wall begins to separate the organism.

Soon the complete development of the cell wall results in the split of the body.

Then the daughter cells have tightly coiled DNA rods, ribosomes, and plastids leading to pulling all required organelles to both daughter cells.

First Stage includes Karyokinesis which means division of cell nucleus along with process of mitosis. All genetic material separates here carrying characteristics of parent cell.

Then the cells elongates in a large cell followed by separation of Plasma membrane leading to formation of two separate cells i.e. Cytokensis which is last stage i.e. stage of cell splitting.
