there are two cells present in a retina

1. rod cells

2. cone cells

rods are the rod shaped cells present in the return of an eye which are sensitive to dim light

the cone shaped cells which are present in the return of an eye which are sensitive to bright light or normal light

cone cells cause the sensation of colour of objects in our eyes..

Hope it helps you dear!
