• As all the magnets are composed of same elements.
• It can be broken down into different categories,which is based on their sources and compostion.
• Following are the types of magnets :

1. Permanent Magnet : It can be further categories into four types :  1) Neodymium iron boron[NdFeB]  2)Samarium cobalt [SmCo]  3)Alnico 4) Creamic or Ferrite.
2. Temporary Magnet :It varies in composition,but behaves like permanent magnet.
3. Electromagnets : It is a multiple loop around core material which is made up of winding of wire ,named as Solenoid.
