Uses. Canines are used for tearing the food.

  • Premolars

There are two pairs of premolars in each jaw [uper jaw and lower jaw] having one or two roots.

Uses. Premolars are used for crushing and grinding the food.

  • Molars.

Molars appears behind the premolars. Number of molars present in each jaw are in three pairs.
