Answer:Kangaroos are the largest marsupials in the world and are found only in Australia and in parts of Papua New Guinea. The Australian Coat of Arms has a kangaroo and emu holding a shield with symbols representing the six states. The emu is a flightless bird. There are more than 60 species of kangaroos and they live in different habitats, ranging from the tropics and deserts, to the rainforest and cooler climates. They are herbivores. The koala bear is another marsupial, which in not a bear in reality. It has large head ,hairy ears, a large nose and thick, woolly, greyish-white fur. Some other marsupials are the wallah and the wombat. Monotremes or egg laying mammals are also found in Australia. There are two types of monotremes- the platypus and the echidna.
