Preparation of Soil - Soil is very good medium for germination of growth of seeds. Prepration of soil involves loosening and turning it known as Ploughing

Sowing of Seeds - Planting of seeds is known as sowing. There are many ways of sowing seeds.

Soil Replenishment- To replenish the fertility of soil, farmers follow many different methods like adding Manures and Fertilisers, Field Fallow, Crop Rotation e.t.c

Irrigation - The supply of water to the land is known as Irrigation. It is done with water from different sources.

Crop Protection- The unwanted plants that grow with crops needs to be removed. Many steps are being taken to remove them known as Crop Protection

Harvesting - Cutting and gathering of crops is known as Harvesting.

Storage - The last and final step is this. Harvested graind are sun-dried before storing to decrease moisture content.
