There are 8 types of views -
1.Extra large icons
2.Large icons
3.Tiles
4.Small Icons
5.List
6.Content
7.Medium icons
8.Details
Details view provide more information of the file/folder like date size etc.
If you want some more details you can right click there and check or uncheck the options as shown in the image.
