Answer:

The three plateaus part of southern plateau are Deccan plateau, Sigur plateau, Kolar plateau.

Explanation:

The geography of the Indian subcontinent, which is largely on the Indian Plate, is diverse. The northern highlands to the coastal plains are just a few of its distinctive and special topographical features. The Indian subcontinent includes plateaus as well. The southern plateau includes the following plateaus.

1.Deccan Plateau

Eight Indian states make up the vast Deccan Plateau, which is located in southern India. It reaches a height of one kilometre in the south and one hundred metres in the north. The region has a variety of climates, with the north being semi-arid and the majority of the region being tropical with distinct wet and dry seasons. Minerals and precious stones can be found on the Deccan Plateau.

2.The Sigur Plateau

In Tamil Nadu's Nilgiri Hills, in the north and east of the Nilgiri district, is the Sigur Plateau, one of India's plateaus. About 778.8 square kilometres of this plateau are covered by it. It is well known that the climate on the plateau region is mild and pleasant. A vital microhabitat for herbivores is the Sigur River Valley. Its floral population includes alpine grassland, dense shola, and tropical dry deciduous woodland.

3. The Kolar Plateau

South of Karnataka is the Kolar Plateau. This arid area is covered in scrubby vegetation, making sheep farming feasible. On this plateau in India lie the Kolar gold fields. The Kolar Plateau helps in the creation of leather items, hand-woven silk, and woollen blankets, among other things.
