Answer:
The most responsible chemical for thinning of the ozone layer is chlorofluorocarbon (commonly known as CFCs) which is released from the refrigerator, air cooler and some other electric home appliances.
Some other gases also affect ozone layer like carbon dioxide, Methyl chloroform, Methane, halons, water vapor, perfluoro-methane and most of the greenhouse gases.

The two gas which are responsible for thining of ozone layer are
1. CFC (clorofloro carbon)
2. HCFC (hydrochlorofloro carbon)
Because these gases have chlorine which reacts with ozone present in air to form ClO and oxygen
Cl + O3 ---------> ClO + O2
Hope this would be helpful
