In the estate system, there are several categories such as the First estate( clergy), Second estate( aristocracy), and the Third estate( common people). This is a structure of the feudal society.

The caste system is still prevailing in our society and it works based on the hereditary principle. The four levels of this system are the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras.

Other than this, there are two more forms of social stratification known as slavery and the class system.
