    The two most important gases that dissolve in water by diffusion are Oxygen  and Carbon Dioxide. They dissolve from atmospheric air into water bodies.

   This dissolving nature of these gases is very important for marine life and ecosystem in Oceans and on Earth.  Ecosystem sustains on thier nature and this process.

   Oxygen is used by all living organisms in the oceans. The metabolism of organisms is based on their respiration by breathing oxygen. Then they break carbohydrates into Carbon dioxide and water, releasing them into the oceans. The carbon dioxide is used in photosynthesis reaction by all plants.

   Some marine fish with grills can take the carbon dioxide and extract Oxygen from that. Then they use Oxygen for respiration process.

   Oxygen is dissolved in blood by diffusion. Then Oxygen is transported by blood into all cells in all parts of body.  This is basic requirement for life for all of us.
