Hydrochloric acid and ammonia are two colourless gases, which on reacting gives ammonium chloride which is a white solid.

HCI_(g)+NH_3(g) -> NH_4 CI_(s)

It looks like this but it should be in capital not small letter

 hci_{(g)} + \:  nh_{3 \: (g)} \to \: nh_{4} \:ci_{(s)}
