1) Fungi - yielded cephalosporins, penicillin. This is a group of anti bodies which is used widely today, to treat bacterial infections. Infections such as pneumonia, throat, skin, eat infections etc can be treated with this.
2) Bacteria - yielded streptomycin. Streptomycin is an antibiotic and is used to treat a number of infections such as tuberculosis, rat bite fever, Mycobacterium avium complex, etc. It also controls bacterial diseases of certain seeds, fruit, vegetables, crops etc.
