These organs help in understanding the relationship between different organisms of different classes because all of them have Forlimbs but these are modified for different functions..

Homologous organs in vertebrates are as follows:-

1. Forelimbs of man and birds

2. forelimbs of dog and flippers of dolphin.

As these organs have same internal structure despite of different functions, they are showing relationship that they have been evolved from a common ancestor.

Explanation:

Homologous organs are those organs in different individuals which have same internal structure but perform different functions.

For example:- Forelimbs of humans and bird . They have same internal structure but are used for holding  and flying respectively.
