The two techniques of managerial control are personal observation and statistical report. In personal observation, the manager personally observes the performance of the employees.
Psychological pressure is imposed on the employees in this technique. In statistical reports, analysis happens in the form of percentages, ratios, averages in the different areas which provide useful information regarding performance of an organisation to its managers.
Tables, graphs, charts etc are used to represent the data.
