2agcl pass sunlight =2ag+cl2

2agbr pass sunlight=2ag+br2

when they are exposed to sunlight they turn in grey color. silver chloride decomposes to form 2ag+cl2  and silver bromide decomposes to form 2ag+br2. which is used in black and white photography. hope it helps you!!
