There are two types of spherical mirrors concave and convex mirror. Concave mirror converges and convex mirror diverges.Concave mirror commonly used in torches and in vehicle's headlights to get powerful beam of light. Convex mirrors are commonly used as rear view mirrors in vehicles. Image formed in concave mirror is mostly Real and inverted. Image formed in convex lens are mostly virtual and erect.
