Explanation:

The ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which it ignites in normal atmosphere. This temperature is required to supply the activation energy needed for combustion. Fuel having a low ignition temperature is considered more efficient and much preferred compared to the fuel wtih high ignition temperature.

Petrol and diesel have low ignition temperature and can catch fire easily.

Coal and wood have high ignition temperature.
