Sludge is the remaining by product produced after sewage treatment.
It may be solid, semisolid or liquid in form.
The sewage sludge that is dried and in compact form can be used a very good fertilizer due to its high organic content.
Another use of sewage is as alternative fuel instead of fossilized fuels, in factories like cement factory.
Also the ash produced afterwards can be infused in the produced cement matrix.
